Stephanie Fox

Stephanie Fox is a Halifax-based UX consultant and author of Would You Date Your Website? a UX toolkit for website owners from all backgrounds.

I met Stephanie at Third Wednesday, a local tech and marketing meetup in Halifax, back in 2024, right as I was starting my freelance design business.

At the time, she was working on her book and had previously gotten some branding work done by someone else, but needed illustrations that would match her existing branding and tell a story.

Working with simple iconography forced me to pare down my personal aesthetics to fully match the style Stephanie was aiming for.

Stephanie was incredibly clear with her feedback, a quality I always admire in my clients. It allowed me to visualize her brand fully, using her existing documentation to inform my approach.

Stephanie's book was published last year, and some of these illustrations occupy the pages. I'm proud of the work we did here, highlighting that sometimes simple aesthetics, 3-colour palettes, and effective, clear communication works best.

It certainly works for Stephanie.
