Illustrations of 2025

2025 was a good year for digital and traditional work, from redrawing of older images to developing my compositional and colour techniques.
By the end of the 2025, I noticed I had become extremely comfortable with analyzing art, both others' and my own, a skill that I've been working on since 2019. Training my eye and hand to work together is an effort of enormous proportions that will last me a lifetime. But for now, here are some top picks from the year.

A variety of prints from 2025, featuring a redo of an older drawing, blatant copying of what's visually popular on Instagram, local pride, and laziness (read: relaxing my grip and letting my eye take control).

Many, many architectural illustrations in the form of "house portraits," an offering I share with people who want to commemorate meaningful spaces. You can email me to request one!

As usual, holidays are a great excuse to get out my pencils, inks, digital media and paint, and to make something.
The 2025 holiday season, I spent weeks creating "house portraits" for a variety of clients, including a cityscape scene (bottom right) for Krista Gallagher , my local Member of Legislature.
I mark my artistic progress with the New Year every year, noting the work that's been done – as well as the work still to come. Overall, 2025 was not a year of great strides, but small, technical steps. It's good to remember though that small, technical brushstrokes can be appealing.
